Left foot before ankle replacement

Photographic print of original drawing

What’s going on inside?
The original conception of this foot series was to log the ankle replacements done on both ankles, as a symmetrical set of five. However, as it has taken an entire year of waiting.
‘What’s going on inside?’ indicates how the drawings relate to the exhibition title. My feet have developed into ever more wayward sculptural forms – interesting to observe, but painful to live with.
